Schalkenbosch Wine Estate is a historic and environmentally conscious wine estate nestled high on the slopes of the Witzenberg Mountains, overlooking the picturesque Tulbagh Valley in South Africa’s Western Cape. Established in the late 1700s, the estate is home to a Cape Dutch homestead completed in 1792, now a national monument. Schalkenbosch produces two distinct wine ranges: the classic, hand-picked Schalkenbosch Wines, and the approachable, early-drinking Edenhof Wines. As a proud WWF Biodiversity & Wine Initiative Champion, the estate is committed to sustainable viticulture and the preservation of the Cape Floral Kingdom’s unique biodiversity.
