Babylon’s Peak is a family-owned private cellar nestled on the granite-rich slopes of the Paardeberg Mountains between Malmesbury and Paarl in South Africa’s Swartland region. With four generations of winemaking heritage, the estate is now led by winemaker Stephan and his father, who continue the legacy of crafting wines that reflect the purity and character of their high-altitude vineyards—some of the highest in the region at 700 meters above sea level. The unique decomposed granite soils and traditional winemaking methods result in wines of exceptional quality, authenticity, and terroir expression.
