Merwida Vineyards is a family-owned wine estate located in the fertile Breede River Valley near Rawsonville, South Africa. Established in 1844 and now spanning over 800 hectares, Merwida is one of the largest private cellars in the country. Nestled at the foot of the Du Toitskloof Mountains along the Holsloot River, the estate is home to seven generations of Van der Merwe family stewardship.
